Technician III, Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS)

The ideal candidate brings strong experience with hazardous waste and chemical safety industrial equipment safety regulatory compliance and high-voltage electrical environments.

• Manage hazardous metal and chemical waste programs including labeling storage accumulation areas inspections manifesting and vendor coordination.
• Support environmental monitoring related to air water waste streams and sustainability programs.
• Support electrical safety programs involving 480V systems and high-voltage equipment.
• Verify lockout/tagout procedures and support energized work permitting.
• Oversee safety requirements for cranes hoists aerial lifts and powered industrial equipment.
• Track equipment certifications and coordinate required safety inspections.
• Support compliance with OSHA EPA DOT NFPA and applicable industry standards.
• Assist with regulatory permits inventories compliance submissions and required reporting.
• Participate in incident investigations root cause analysis and corrective action follow-up.
• Support emergency response activities including spills evacuation drills first aid and electrical incidents.
• Respond to workplace medical incidents within the scope of training and maintain first aid and AED equipment.
• Maintain EHS records permits SDS files inspection logs and compliance documentation.
• Conduct or coordinate EHS training for employees and contractors.
• Partner with operations maintenance engineering and quality teams to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.

• 4 to 7 years of EHS or related technical experience preferably within aerospace industrial manufacturing or chemical handling environments.
• Strong knowledge of hazardous waste management including RCRA chemical safety and environmental compliance.
• Working knowledge of high-voltage electrical safety. NFPA 70E experience preferred.
• Experience supporting cranes hoists aerial lifts and powered industrial vehicles.
• Ability to interpret safety regulations technical documents and applicable codes.
• Strong documentation communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to independently identify hazards recommend corrective actions and lead daily EHS activities.

• First Aid/CPR/AED or related EHS certifications

This position works across office production mechanical and outdoor environments. Candidates must be comfortable working around hazardous chemicals metal waste noise energized equipment and industrial machinery while following required PPE and safety procedures. The position may require lifting up to 40 lbs.

Pay:$36.00 to $48.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
