Job Summary
Cleans decontaminates inspects assembles packages sterilizes stores and distributes supplies instruments and equipment dispensed by the department following infection control guidelines. Performs other duties as assigned.Responsibilities
- Manages decontamination sterilization distribution and storage of supplies instruments and equipment.
- Participates in Performance Improvement.
- Demonstrates Fiscal management.
- Maintains proper environment of care.
- Develop and disseminate ongoing education.
- Serve as preceptor.
- Completes all assigned goals.

- Successfully passed a nationally accredited central service exam for central service technicians and maintains a certified registered central service technical credential administered by the International Association of healthcare Central Service Material Management or the Certification Board of Sterile Processing and Distribution;

- 10 Hours of continuing education annually
