Compensation Overview

This role is based on flagged hours.

Experience & Qualifications Needed:

  • Valid drivers licenseand clean driving record
  • 1-3 years of automotive technician experience is required.
  • Ability to drive and handle various vehicle makes models and sizes.
  • Mechanical and troubleshooting skills and ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment team-oriented flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
  • Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment electrical engine alignment systems diagnostic equipment AC equipment etc.

Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair vehicles to specifications using equipment such as infrared engine analyzers compression gauges and computerized diagnostic devices.
  • Tear down repair replace and/or rebuild faulty assemblies such as power systems steering systems linkages pistons rods gears valves and bearings.
  • Rewire ignition systems lights and instrument panels and repairs manual and automatic transmissions.
  • Adequately explains the technical diagnosis and required repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
