Our team is currently looking for an experienced Fleet Technician 2nd Shift to maintain our commitment to safety reliability and exceptional customer service. In this role the successful candidate will perform truck repair and maintenance work in accordance with factory and industry standards run diagnostics on vehicles and work closely with team members to support operational goals.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities Performs minor and major repairs on trucks and trailers. Conducts routine preventative maintenance on service trucks including inspections tire rotations and oil changes. Collaborates with the repair team to diagnose vehicle issues and develop repair solutions. Maintains accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles. Repairs modifies and performs preventative maintenance on fleet vehicles as needed. Completes all preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently. Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical malfunctions. Inspects fleet vehicles to ensure DOT compliance including brake maintenance and safety inspections. Completes all daily reporting. Maintains equipment parts and supply inventories by monitoring stock levels. Prepares maintenance reports by collecting analyzing and summarizing information and trends. Maintains a safe and clean work environment by following established procedures rules and regulations. Adheres to all Company DOT and OSHA safety standards and regulations.
Schedule Second Shift Position
Monday through Saturday Hours: 1:00 PM 9:00 PM Must be available to work a consistent second-shift schedule.
Education High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience and Competencies Minimum of 2 years of fleet maintenance experience. Welding and body fabrication experience is a plus. Ability to read and comprehend technical reference materials equipment manuals and repair documentation. Experience with Microsoft applications and diagnostic software. Strong attention to detail. Professional dependable and safety-focused work ethic.
