Technical Writer

Technical Writer is responsible for producing high-quality content working withdevelopers engineers product managers marketers and usability experts to represent Park Placeproducts and services.

What youll be doing:

• Research outline write and edit new and existing content working closely with various
• departments to understand project requirements.
• Independently gather information from subject matter experts to develop organize and writeproduct documents and marketing collateral material.
• Develop content for alternative media forms for maximum usability with a consistent and cohesive
• voice across all documentation.
• Produce high-quality copy that is appropriate for the intended audiences (Internal and external). This may include:
  • Blogs
  • White papers
  • Case studies
  • Web site copy
  • Bylines and articles for publications
  • Press releases
  • Training materials
  • Social media copy
  • Executive communications
  • Content for PPT (Park Place Technologies) employee newsletters
  • Content for industry analysts
  • Other writing as needed

• Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of Park Place products and thedocumentation requirements
• Work with the PPT team to respond to RFPs
• Other duties as assigned.

What were looking for:

• Proven working experience in technical writing of IT (Information Technologies) documentation 2to 7 years experience.
• Excellent writing skills.
• Ability to deliver high-quality documentation paying attention to detail.
• Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text.
• Creative self-motivated team player.

Bonus Points:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Engineering or equivalent preferred.

Education:

• Bachelors Degree required.

Travel:

• 10%
