The Role

As the Technical Torque Compliance Lead you will serve as the plant-level subject matter expert for torque processes at Lansing Grand this role you will support manufacturing quality process compliance and issue resolution by working cross-functionally with internal teams suppliers VAA and tooling representatives. You will help ensure torque systems standards andtoolingremain calibrated certified and ready to support safe compliant and efficient production. This role is critical tomaintainingplant quality standards supporting launch and repair readiness and drivingtimelyresponse to production issues.

What Youll Do

  • Serve as the plant torque compliance subject matter expert

  • Provide initial and advanced torque training for all levels including hard hold TAY and torque cart certifications.

  • Coordinate torque-related change management PFCMs and implementation actions

  • Maintain production torque sheets PQC/standard care lists secondary check locations and critical operations list

  • Monitor torque reports and NOK TFTQparetos

  • Run APM (NowGMlogic) weekly comparisons

  • Complete correlation studies and support Fastening ME launch and IRT activities

  • Support UAT signoff tethering verification and PQRS fastening deviations

  • Validate and sign off on all Torque related PTRs

  • Interface with suppliers VAA and tooling representatives to ensure adherence to corporate torque guidelines

  • Serve as theAvantguardPlant Champion and maintainAvantguardrepair cart programs

  • MaintainDatamytedatabase for torque monitor routes

  • Ensure proper calibrations for torque monitorDatamytewrenches are performed to meet required maintenance plans

  • Maintain smart IRC sheet torque specs

  • Support the management of the hourly torque team to ensure processes arefollowedand standardized work is well defined.

Your Skills and Abilities (Required Qualifications)

  • 3years of experience in torque processes

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment

  • Fastening knowledge with torque processexpertise

  • Quality assurance experience

  • Strong analytical troubleshooting and cross-functional communication skills

What Can Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)

  • 7 years of experience in torque processes

  • Bachelors degree in engineering or a technical field

  • Experience withToolsNetAvantguardand other Atlas Copco systems.

  • Red X and structured problem-solving experience

  • GMS experience

  • Experience supporting plant systems tooling compliance and technical process governance
