Job Profile Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic recruiter to join our team to focus on building relationships with technical schools to attract qualified candidates for our organization. This role will work closely with hiring leaders to understand their talent needs and provide guidance and support throughout the full recruitment life cycle. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in recruiting and a passion for connecting with students and faculty at technical schools across ONEOKs footprint.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with technical schools to promote our organization as a preferred employer.
Collaborate with school career services departments to coordinate recruitment events job fairs and campus visits.
Identify top talent from technical schools and engage with them through various recruitment channels.
Provide information about our organization job opportunities and benefits to students and faculty.
Evaluate and screen candidates to ensure they meet the qualifications and requirements for our positions.
Manage the recruitment process by collaborating with hiring leaders to initiate offers follow through to offer acceptance including scheduling interviews and conducting follow-up communications.
Assist with onboarding activities to ensure a smooth transition for new hires from technical schools.
Assist the recruiting team with experienced positions during hiring volume spikes.
Serve as the primary owner of ONEOKs DoD SkillBridge Program for technical and operations roles partnering with internal leaders to align SkillBridge participants to workforce needs.
Build and maintain relationships with military transition offices SkillBridge education partners and approved training providers to attract qualified transitioning service members.
Coordinate SkillBridge participant selection placement and on-the-job learning plans in partnership with hiring leaders Operations leadership HRBPs and Onboarding.
Manage end-to-end SkillBridge processes including role identification participant matching offer coordination tracking and support through conversion to full-time employment when applicable.
Ensure SkillBridge program compliance with Department of Defense guidelines and internal ONEOK policies.
Track and report SkillBridge metrics and provide insights to Talent Acquisition and workforce planning stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
3 years of experience in recruitment human resources or a role where collaborative relationships were built.
Knowledge of best practices in campus recruitment and relationship building is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in using recruitment software and tools.
Flexibility and willingness to work in other areas of recruiting is a must.
Willingness to travel to career fairs as needed up to 75% during busy career fair season.
Experience recruiting military or veteran talent or supporting SkillBridge apprenticeship or early-career workforce programs is preferred.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities

Ability to: create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles.

Ability to: collaborate effectively establish and maintain successful working relationships.
Ability to: quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems.
Ability to: be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Licenses and Certifications
