Job Summary

JOB DESCRIPTIONSummary/Objective The Technical Salesperson will strive to grow their respective sales territory to its full potential by working closely with existing and developing new customers to uncover opportunities where they can provide impactful solutions which improve the overall efficiencies reliability safety and sustainability of their respective customers Functions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential or exceed mutually agreed upon sales forecast for a defined North Carolina/Virginia based geographic and product focused product and application skills through in-house on-line and factory learning and implement territory and product specific sales for providing best-in-class customer experiences in your defined territoryBuild strong relationships with clients. Once established target 12-14 in-person sales calls per closely with the inside sales team on a daily basis to ensure alignment on priorities proper path on all territorial activities and participate as a team player for the benefit of the entire Fluid Flow Charlotte and close opportunities by working closely with your customer base sales management and sales team product and application assistance to customer inside sales team with complex quote sales process following company policies including the use of Salesforce CRM with sales team to exchange market information and successful selling sales forecasts sales reports and present annual business plan as required by managementComply with companys travel and entertainment policy and stay within expense to all company Standard Operating Policies and Procedures. Exceed the expectations of our contractual suppliers from a sales product/application knowledge and professionalism in a safe manner and follow all safety improve your skills through feedback and guidance by the management interpersonal and selling presentation and communication have or be capable of developing strong technical knowledge of the products to be sold in the customer service to communicate effectively at management engineering and maintenance of manufacturing process to work under pressure and rapidly changing conceptual and organizational skills combined with a strong work ResponsibilityThis position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the EnvironmentThis job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers photocopiers and DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally required to stand walk sit talk or hear and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distance vision. Ability to travel; ability to drive an automobile. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Exposure to high levels of heat or noise may occur while visiting in the customer plant environment. Moderate noise (i.e.: computer printers traffic) exists daily in the work environment. Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties travel with some overnight requirements is expected in this Education and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or EquivalentMinimum 1 3 years of experience in industrial salesPreferred Education and ExperienceBA BS degree preferredAdditional Eligibility QualificationsLeadership skills. Technical knowledge and strong mechanical aptitudeStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Computer skills. Must hold a valid drivers license. Extensive land and occasional air travel will be required. May be required from time to time to take and successfully complete customer-directed drug and/or alcohol testing.
