OneSource Professional Search is partnering with a well-established Louisiana-based industrial equipment manufacturer to hire a Technical Publications Specialist in Kenner role combines technical writing video production and AI-assisted documentation to create SOPs work instructions training materials and technical resources for manufacturing employees service technicians and customers.

Responsibilities

• Capture and edit video of manufacturing equipment operation assembly repair and service processes.

• Use AI-powered tools to create SOPs work instructions training guides and technical documentation.

• Create instructional videos and digital training materials.

• Review and edit AI-generated content for technical accuracy clarity grammar and consistency.

• Partner with Engineering and Manufacturing to verify technical content.

• Maintain documentation digital assets and revision control.

• Support employee training onboarding and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; relevant Associate degree preferred.

• 24 years of experience in technical documentation training digital media manufacturing support or a related field.

• Strong writing editing proofreading and technical communication skills.

• Strong computer aptitude and ability to learn new AI and digital documentation tools.

• Video recording/editing experience or willingness to learn.

• Ability to work effectively with Engineering Manufacturing and other technical teams.

This is an on-site role involving regular interaction with manufacturing and testing areas and occasional travel as needed.
