Technical Project Lead 160th SOAR CMRC Coordinator

Job Summary
The Opportunity:
As a CACI-SOFETOPS 160th SOAR CMRC Technical Project Lead you will support the planning coordination execution and assessment of combat mission rehearsal and training events for Army Special Operations Aviation. The position serves as a technical project lead by developing project plans coordinating schedules tracking milestones managing action items monitoring deliverables and providing status updates to government functional leads and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain interface with Customer organizations and consult with Customers to formulate and review plans and deliverables ensuring conformity with program and project task schedules costs and contractual obligations.
- Review technical and financial reports to show progress of projects to management and Customers.
- Keep both Customer and the Contractor management abreast of issues risks and accomplishments.
- Gather customer requirements and hold technical exchange meetings.
- Provide status updates to the customer.
- Provide mentorship to assigned contractor personnel.
- Coordinate and support planning preparation execution and assessment of 160th SOAR combat mission rehearsal and training events applying expertise in Army Special Operations rotary-wing aviation TTPs mission planning considerations and operational risk management processes.
- Conduct site surveys and ensure compliance with all applicable federal state local installation aviation safety environmental and operational requirements; interpret and apply FAA regulations and aviation policies to training activities.
- Identify and mitigate risks across technical logistical regulatory safety sustainment and operational domains; recommend appropriate mitigation measures and courses of action to support mission success.
- Develop validate and document operational and user requirements; provide technical analytical logistical and project support aligned with priorities established by the government functional lead.
- Serve as aviation and mission-rehearsal SME at Program Management Reviews (PMRs) design reviews (PDRs/CDRs) Technical Interchange Meetings (TIMs) planning conferences rehearsals and after-action reviews.
- Support Future Vertical Lift (FVL) development efforts by identifying requirements unique to Special Operations Aviation and maintaining awareness of emerging technologies regulatory updates and process-improvement opportunities.
- Operate night vision systems and encrypted multiband radio equipment as required to support mission rehearsal communications coordination and training execution.
- Perform administrative clerical coordination and logistical tasks necessary to support the functional area and other duties as directed by the government functional lead.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Current Top Secret/SCI clearance.
- 10 years minimum experience as a Senior NCO Warrant Officer or Officer in Army Aviation
- Demonstrated expertise in tactics techniques and procedures unique to Special Operations Aviation including associated operational and training risks.
- Familiarity with Army Special Operations rotary-wing aviation tactics techniques procedures planning considerations and mission planning processes.
- Knowledge of FAA regulations and their application to rotary-wing aviation operations training and site-selection activities.
- Experience conducting or supporting aviation site surveys operational assessments training-event planning or comparable mission-support activities.
- Working knowledge of night vision systems and the ability to operate such systems in accordance with established procedures.
- Ability to operate encrypted multiband radio systems and comply with applicable communications-security requirements.
- Ability to analyze complex operational technical logistical and regulatory issues and develop practical recommendations or courses of action.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to prepare requirement documentation brief stakeholders and participate effectively in technical and programmatic meetings.
Desired:
- Experience managing contract personnel and delivery tasks to DoW or similar activity
- Prior assignment to ARSOAC or 160th SOAR as a training resource manager or coordinator role
- Must work independently with limited government oversight and function effectively as part of a team in a joint working environment.
