We are seeking a Technical Product Manager to lead discovery work for a product in transition. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in documenting the current state and desired future state of the product. They will help to shape the roadmap and prioritize features balancing current work against upcoming business needs.
Responsibilities:Execute discovery work for a product in transition documenting current state and desired future state to guide the development business requirements and document existing business and technical processes within Disneys Commerce Team in Parks Commercial independently and in partnership with commercial teams to understand current business systems and illustrate the future state requirement-gathering meetings with cross-functional teams and maintain consistent communication with peers and sessions to determine the feasibility of specific requirements analyzing the impact on existing business and technical Technical discussions to gain alignment and act as a gatekeeper & negotiator with our Business & product capability roadmap dedicated to a squad/teamAnalyze data to help inform product decisionProactively communicate squad/team status issues and risks to application behavior and implementation.
Basic Qualifications:3-5 years of experience as a Technical Product Manager Technical Program Manager Engineer or Engineering Manager working with user interfaces web services databases and cloud infrastructure technical knowledge with experience leading technical initiatives that span several teams and functional at writing business & functional level in Microsoft Office Applications Advanced knowledge and ability to use collaboration tools such as; Jira Smartsheet Confluence Excellent written and oral communication skills
Education:Bachelors degree
