This role focuses on performing complex systems architecture and engineering to define design and implement enterprise wide IT solutions that support mission critical operations. Provides senior technical leadership for systems engineering activities. Serves as technical authority for systems integration architecture decisions and engineering standards. Mentors Systems Engineers ensures adherence to engineering processes and interfaces with Government on technical matters.
- Perform complex systems architecture and engineering to define architect design engineer and implement enterprise-wide IT systems and solutions across the technology stack.
- Develop design concepts consistent with Enterprise Architecture guidance and industry best practices to address new requirements and enhance performance.
- Provide technical expertise in creating updating maintaining and visualizing architecture data.
- Serve as technical liaison with regard to system architecture focusing on performance availability redundancy data protection and information security.
- Collaborate with customers to evaluate mission drivers identify challenges define mitigation strategies assess applications develop transition plans and develop business cases for Cloud and other initiatives.
Candidates must meet the following minimum education and relevant experience combinations by level:
- HS/GED 6 years experience
- Associates 4 years experience
- Bachelors 2 years experience
- Masters degree (experience may be substituted as appropriate)
