About This Role

As Technical Accounting Manageryoullserve as a trusted technical accounting resource supporting a diverse portfolio of businesses and complex organizational structures.Youllpartner closely with finance property management operations leadership and external auditors to ensure financial reporting isaccurate compliant and positioned to support continued growth.

How You Will Spend Your Time

• Research analyze andprovidetechnical accounting guidance for complex transactions including acquisitions debt restructurings and equity financing activities.

• Serve as the process owner for key accounting functions whileidentifyingopportunities to strengthen efficiency and consistency.

• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP company accounting policies and internal controls.

• Prepare and review monthly journal entries account reconciliations and supporting schedules.

• Analyze financial results investigate significant variances and communicate findings to business partners.

• Prepare monthly internal financial statements.

• Lead assigned portions of the monthly quarterly and annual financial close process.

• Support the preparation of quarterly and annualconsolidatedfinancial statements including footnote disclosures and year-end audit activities.

• Prepare financial reporting packages for third-party lenders and business partners.

• Partner with Property Management Finance and Operations on annual budgeting tenant reconciliations and special projects.

• Recommend and implement improvements to accounting systems internal controls and business processes.

• Foster a culture of continuous improvement while supporting Sabeys adoption of AI and emerging technologies.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business or a closely related field.

• Five or more years of progressive accounting experience.

• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.

• Advanced knowledge of full-cycle accounting.

• Excellent analytical organizational and project management skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple business functions.

• Advancedproficiencywith Microsoft 365 applications.

• Ability to prioritize competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Detail-oriented with exceptional accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.

• Self-directed with the ability to work independently.

• Commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.

• InterestinleveragingAI tools and technology to improve accounting processes.
  

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA and/or CMA certification.

• Experience with Yardi or comparable accounting software.

• Experience supporting complex organizational structures or multi-entity environments.
