The Opportunity

Williams International has an exciting opportunity for a Team Leader in Shipping & Receiving to join our team. The Team Leader in Shipping & Receiving will:

• Lead team members in tasks associated with the shipment/receipt of engines and engine components
• Train team members on policies and procedures work duties employee safety etc.
• Administer employee performance reviews hiring promotion and disciplinary actions
• Prioritize/assign shipping/receiving workload including but not limited to priority (expedited) shipments engine shipments hardware shipments STOs and misdirected shipments
• Schedule overtime requirements as needed to support schedule requirements
• Order/maintain packaging materials necessary to support engine and engine component shipments
• Respond to CARD Actions as necessary
• Obtain and maintain Hazmat Certification (IATA and 49 CFR)

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in related field and a minimum of one (1) year experience in supply chain manufacturing operations or engineering or- a minimum of four (4) years experience in supply chain manufacturing operations or engineering
• MS Office and ERP system knowledge is required; SAP preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required
• Responsible for product safety and the quality of work including as a minimum all elements defined in the Companys Quality Policy
• U.S. citizenship is required
• Position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance if needed. Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
