JOB DESCRIPTION:
SUMMARY OF POSITION
This position will serve as a Team Leader in School-Based Services with primary responsibilities of supervising a team of school-based therapists. The team leader will report to the Program Coordinator for School-Based/CCFT services. This position requires a masters degree in social work psychology marriage & family therapy or counseling.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide administrative oversight for School-Based therapists to include caseload management handling of referrals monitoring productivity and offering guidance and support (ideally 8-10 administrative staff)
- Attend administrative oversight with Program Coordinator
- Network with school administrators to ensure a supportive and productive environment for staff and maintain positive relationships with the administrators at the school district level
- Provide consultation and training to school staff as needed
- Complete all required reports accurately and in a timely manner
- Ensure appropriate onboarding and training for all new staff
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with other clinical staff and leaders within Centerstone in order to better facilitate services for clients
- Complete random client satisfaction surveys as directed
- Assist in trouble shooting with School-Based therapists to ensure their success in providing services
- Develop strategy for coverage of caseloads when a school therapist position is vacant
- Conduct staff evaluations at intervals determined for all staff on the team

QUALIFICATIONS
Education Level
- A Masters degree is required in one of the following fields: Clinical Psychology Mental Health (MH) Counseling Social Work Marriage and Family Therapy and/or a specialization in MH Counseling
- License-eligible in respective discipline preferred.
OR
- Applicants with a Masters degree in a related field (outside of the disciplines listed above) must meet the following criteria:
- Completion of at least 24 graduate-level semester hoursin psychology social work counseling or other behavioral health-related coursework.
- Relevant coursework and work experience in the following areas:
- Clinical treatment and treatment planning
- Appraisal and assessment of mental disorders
- Psychopathology
- Use of the DSM for diagnostic purposes within a clinical internship or practicum in a behavioral health setting
Years of Experience
Supervisory experience is preferred and/or experience providing behavioral health services with children and teens.
Certification/Licensure
Must possess a valid drivers license and meet eligibility requirements to be covered under the organizations vehicle insurance policy.
Fully licensed in the State of Tennessee preferred. (LCSW LMFT LPC-MHSP)
