Job Summary
Responsibilities
Deliver the OWN Experience every day by focusing on what drives our successClients OWNers Safety Quality and Financial Health.
Lead technical teams in maximizing success at each phase of the project lifecycle.
Manage assigned projects to ensure quality schedule and budget goals are achieved.
Lead project kickoffs define scope establish schedules and budgets and monitor progress throughout the project lifecycle.
Implement and enforce company standards QA/QC procedures and quality control processes on all projects.
Identify project risks and collaborate with Group Leaders to develop and implement mitigation strategies.
Conduct project debriefs and promote continuous improvement in delivery and collaboration.
Champion a culture of safety ensuring all OWNers and clients maintain safe work practices.
Lead mentor and manage assigned team members to support their development engagement and utilization.
Conduct performance reviews providing coaching feedback and career development guidance.
Support onboarding training and skill development initiatives for team members
Provide day-to-day direction on workload priorities and professional growth.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Geotechnical Engineering Environmental Engineering or a related field preferred
10-15 years of experience focused in geotechnical investigations materials testing procedures environmental assessments and/or drilling techniques.
In-depth knowledge of field services principles practices and industry standards.
Strong project management skills with the ability to effectively plan organize and prioritize multiple projects and resources.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage with clients stakeholders and team members.
Business acumen and a customer-focused mindset with a track record of successfully growing client relationships and securing new business opportunities.
Familiarity with relevant geotechnical software and design tools.
Strong commitment to safety and the promotion of a safe work environment.
A drive for continuous improvement and innovation seeking opportunities to enhance departmental processes and performance.
