Job Summary

Responsibilities


  • Deliver the OWN Experience every day by focusing on what drives our successClients OWNers Safety Quality and Financial Health.

  • Lead technical teams in maximizing success at each phase of the project lifecycle.

  • Manage assigned projects to ensure quality schedule and budget goals are achieved.

  • Lead project kickoffs define scope establish schedules and budgets and monitor progress throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Implement and enforce company standards QA/QC procedures and quality control processes on all projects.

  • Identify project risks and collaborate with Group Leaders to develop and implement mitigation strategies.

  • Conduct project debriefs and promote continuous improvement in delivery and collaboration.

  • Champion a culture of safety ensuring all OWNers and clients maintain safe work practices.

  • Lead mentor and manage assigned team members to support their development engagement and utilization.

  • Conduct performance reviews providing coaching feedback and career development guidance.

  • Support onboarding training and skill development initiatives for team members

  • Provide day-to-day direction on workload priorities and professional growth.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Geotechnical Engineering Environmental Engineering or a related field preferred

  • 10-15 years of experience focused in geotechnical investigations materials testing procedures environmental assessments and/or drilling techniques.

  • In-depth knowledge of field services principles practices and industry standards.

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to effectively plan organize and prioritize multiple projects and resources.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively engage with clients stakeholders and team members.

  • Business acumen and a customer-focused mindset with a track record of successfully growing client relationships and securing new business opportunities.

  • Familiarity with relevant geotechnical software and design tools.

  • Strong commitment to safety and the promotion of a safe work environment.

  • A drive for continuous improvement and innovation seeking opportunities to enhance departmental processes and performance.
