Job Summary

Were looking for an experienced Lead for our Biomedical Equipment Teamwho is passionate about technology problem-solving and making a difference in this role youll ensure the medical equipment our caregivers depend on is safe reliable and operating at peak performance. From troubleshooting and repairing patient care equipment to performing preventive maintenance and supporting new technology installations youll play a vital role in keeping our hospital running safely and efficiently.

What Youll Do
  • Inspect maintain troubleshoot repair and install a wide variety of medical equipment and clinical systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and document all work to meet regulatory and accreditation requirements.
  • Evaluate malfunctioning equipment and recommend repairs or replacement when needed.
  • Test and inspect new leased and loaned medical equipment before it is placed into service.
  • Respond to equipment issues and participate in an on-call rotation for emergency service needs.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff leadership vendors and contractors to support projects and equipment installations.
  • Maintain accurate records using our maintenance management system (TMS).
  • Help ensure all equipment meets safety operational and regulatory standards.
What Were Looking For
  • Associates degree in Biomedical Equipment Technology or completion of a U.S. Military Biomedical Equipment Technology program.
  • CBET and AAMI certifications required.
  • At least 5 years of biomedical equipment experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of medical equipment electronics networking and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clinicians vendors and fellow team members.
  • A commitment to safety quality and exceptional customer service.
