Demonstrate excellent leadership skills to employees within the department by providing a resource for questions concerns and comments

Roles and Responsibilities

Recap any updates with Supervisor following team huddle

Know and understand each role within the department

Get outside department contacts involved when necessary

Point of contact in department when Supervisor is unavailable

Report any findings issues observations to the Supervisor

Support system for employees

Delegate where employees should be working throughout the shift

Attend Team Leader Training and train new employees

Engineering point of contact for questions and/or trials

Conduct walk-throughs with candidates when supervisor is unavailable

Wear designated personal protective equipment and follow all health and safety guidelines

Maintain 5s standards

Required Qualifications

Hold current certification(s) specific to department

Ability to lift of carry objects or materials up to 40 lbs

Ability to push/pull heavy objects

Ability to stand for extended periods on concrete floors

Ability to work with hands for an extended period

Knowledge of the department area

Ability to communicate empathize resolve conflict patience and tolerance

Ability to operate basic hand tools power tools and heavy machinery

Ability to work individually and as part of a team

Desired Characteristics

High School Diploma GED or related work experience

Previous manufacturing and leadership experience preferred

Previous fiberglass experience helpful

Position Shift: Mon-Fri 2pm-10:30pm
