Job Description:

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS MANDATORY

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Advanced FOIA training or certifications;

WORK EXPERIENCE MANDATORY

  • Minimum of three (3) years of full-time experience performing FOIA support services or substantially similar FOIArelated functions;
  • Demonstrated experience performing work of similar size scope and complexity;
  • Demonstrated ability to support the processing tracking coordination review administration and management of FOIA requests in a federal or comparable environment.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting federal FOIA programs including high-volume complex sensitive or timesensitive FOIA operations;
  • Experience using FOIA tracking systems records management systems workflow management tools or related technologies;
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating with Government officials legal counsel program offices and stakeholders;
  • The extent to which proposed personnel possess specialized education certifications training supervisory experience or technical expertise relevant to FOIA operations;
  • The overall balance complement and suitability of the proposed staffing mix to successfully support the Governments mission requirements.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 1.602-2(d) and applicable Department of the Interior Acquisition Assistance and Property Policy (AAAP) and Acquisition Policy & Procedures (AP&P) guidance the Contracting Officers Representative (COR) is responsible for providing technical direction clarification of requirements and oversight of contract performance within the scope of the contract.
  • All workload requirements task assignments and performance expectations shall be communicated by the COR exclusively to the Contractors designated Team Lead. The Team Lead shall be solely responsible for:
    Assigning work to Contractor personnel (FTEs);
    Managing Contractor staff and internal workload distribution;
    Ensuring performance in accordance with contract requirements.

WORK EXPERIENCE NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience supporting Cabinet-level agencies or large federal FOIA programs;
  • Experience processing complex litigation-sensitive or expedited FOIA requests;
  • Supervisory quality control or team leadership responsibilities;
