Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Team Lead Enterprise Technology Operations-PeopleSoft / ERP to support a major public-sector enterprise technology environment. This is a highly specialized leadership role for a senior technology professional with extensive experience managing enterprise applications vendor relationships large-scale operations and strategic technology initiatives within complex government environments.
Role Summary
RESPEC is seeking a senior technology leader to oversee operational and strategic activities supporting a large-scale enterprise application environment serving numerous government organizations. This position will provide leadership across technology operations application support vendor management enterprise architecture service delivery security compliance and modernization initiatives.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in enterprise application ecosystems PeopleSoft technologies managed services oversight and large-scale production operations. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders while ensuring operational excellence across mission-critical systems that support financial human capital and administrative business functions.
Responsibilities:
Lead enterprise technology operations supporting complex business-critical applications and services. Develop and maintain strategic technology roadmaps align technical initiatives with business objectives and provide executive-level guidance on modernization efforts operational improvements and risk management.
Oversee outsourced technical teams and managed service providers ensuring contractual obligations service-level expectations and operational performance standards are met. Coordinate cross-functional teams responsible for application support production operations system enhancements integrations reporting solutions and service management activities.
Provide leadership for enterprise application environments utilizing PeopleSoft technologies and Oracle platforms. Support governance activities related to information security audit readiness compliance requirements change management incident management and IT service management best practices.
Partner with technical and business stakeholders to evaluate future-state solutions improve operational efficiencies and ensure long-term sustainability of enterprise technology services.
Qualifications :
Required Technical Experience
20 Years of Experience
Candidates must possess at least 20 years of experience supporting enterprise technology environments within state government or similarly complex public-sector organizations. This includes direct involvement with enterprise application operations strategic technology planning roadmap development technical leadership and cross-functional stakeholder engagement.
Applicants must also demonstrate extensive experience supporting large-scale enterprise application ecosystems and driving technology initiatives that align with organizational goals and business priorities.
10 Years of Experience
Candidates must have at least 10 years of experience in the following areas:
Leading outsourced technical teams and managed service providers
Managing enterprise technology contracts and vendor relationships
Delivering executive-level presentations and communications
Technical project leadership and program oversight
Data integration data quality and software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices
IT security governance and compliance initiatives
IT service management and ITIL-based operational environments
Large-scale production support for multi-organization enterprise systems
Strong hands-on experience is required with:
PeopleSoft FSCM and/or HCM 9.2
PeopleTools
PeopleCode
Application Designer
SQL
PS Query
SQR
Application Engine
Oracle Database 11g or higher
Candidates should also have extensive experience supporting enterprise production environments serving large user populations and multiple organizational entities.
5 Years of Experience
Candidates must have experience designing supporting or governing enterprise reporting frameworks that support multiple business units organizations or agencies including self-service reporting capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates with experience implementing software and hardware management best practices within large enterprise environments. Additional consideration will be given to professionals who have supported legacy statewide financial systems participated in enterprise modernization initiatives or developed technical specifications and requirements for technology procurements.
Experience with enterprise governance strategic planning large-scale reporting environments and public-sector financial systems is highly desirable.

This position is primarily remote; however candidates must reside and work within the continental United States throughout the duration of the engagement.

While day-to-day work is expected to be performed remotely candidates must be available for occasional on-site meetings project activities onboarding requirements or operational needs as determined by client policy. The client also reserves the right to modify the work arrangement in accordance with project requirements.
Standard working hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Time. Occasional evening weekend or holiday support may be required.
