Teacher/Special Education (Early Learning Program)

The Special Education Teacher in theELP classroom is responsible teaching psychomotor cognitive affective and social skills to pre-school children in the Greeneville City School system. Also responsible for overseeing on-site operations of the pre-school program and for providing instruction to special needs students and maintaining required paperwork at federal state and local levels. Also responsible for teaching TN State Standards and leading students toward the fulfillment of their potential for intellectual emotional psychological growth and maturation. Assisting students with daily life functions (toileting eating etc.) may be required. The teacher will lead a classroom with multiple assistants managing a team setting.This Full Time position DOES include benefits.

Applicants must have a current valid educator license including a Special Education Early Childhood PreK-3 (459) endorsement. CPR/First Aid certifications are required. Must have strong written verbal presentation and interpersonal skills. Must have satisfactory background/fingerprint checks as required by the Tennessee State Department of Education and state law. Must meet health and physical requirements.
