About the Role

Hello Teachers of the Visually Impaired! Ampersand Therapy is hiring a full-time in-person TVI for the school year to support students in Milliken CO. This position also requires Orientation and Mobility (O&M) certification to support students with safe navigation mobility skills and access within their educational environment.

In this role you will provide direct services consultation and collaboration to help students with visual impairments access their curriculum and school environment successfully.

What Youll Do

  • Provide direct TVI and Orientation & Mobility services to students

  • Collaborate with IEP teams teachers related service providers and families

  • Support accommodations and accessible educational materials

  • Assist with Braille instruction assistive technology and visual access strategies as needed

  • Support student mobility navigation and orientation skills across educational environments

  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary collaboration

  • Maintain timely documentation and compliance records

What Were Looking For

  • Active Colorado CDE certification with Teacher of the Visually Impaired endorsement required

  • Orientation and Mobility (O&M) certification required

  • Experience working with K-12 students preferred

  • Strong communication organization and collaboration skills

  • Passion for supporting students with visual impairments in school-based settings
