Job Summary
Allied Health
Duties and Responsibilities:
Teaches occupational preparatory classes within a career and technical education program.
Performs other duties as required.
Minimum Requirements:
Must hold the Rank III Kentucky teaching certificate in the subject area to be taught;
OR
Must hold a Kentucky Statement of Eligibility in the subject area to be taught;
OR
Four years of appropriate work experience two of which must be in the last five years.
Special Requirements:
For Allied Health 4 years of experience (with 2 in the last 5 years) with active licensure certification or registration by an accrediting agency as a professional health care practitioner. Professional health care professionals eligible to teach the secondary health science program/Allied Health major: Registered Nurse with one year of long-term care experience.
Salary dependent on current rank and certification from the Education Professional Standards Board.
In accordance with KRS 161.220 the applicant selected for this position will become a member of the Teachers Retirement System.
