Teacher KSchool Year

Owensboro Catholic Schools is seeking a full-time elementary teacher at the K-3 Campus. The successful candidate must be faith-filled dynamic compassionate energetic and willing to work collaboratively in a positive team environment.

• Bachelors degree in elementary education or a related field and a valid State of Kentucky teaching certificate or be in the process of receiving certification
• Have a passion for teaching students in the early elementary grades (Kindergarten 3rd grade)
• Use best practices to provide effective instruction and positive consistent classroom management
• Self-motivated and able to multitask prioritize and manage time efficiently
• Communicate with students parents and colleagues in a professional and positive manner
• Function as a cooperative productive team member with a Christ-like attitude
• Support and uphold the philosophy and mission of the Catholic Church and the Owensboro Catholic School System
• Must pass a criminal background check and complete safe environment training for the Diocese of Owensboro before employment can be granted
