Teacher Kindergarten

TITLE: Kindergarten Teacher

REPORTS TO: Principal

SUPERVISES: N/A

TERM: 10 months

JOB GOAL: Work with students to help them learn concepts in all subjects. Assist students in applying concepts they have learned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING:

• Bachelor Degree in Education
• Hold appropriate Tennessee certification license
• Demonstrated organizational skills
• Effective decision-making and verbal and written communication skills

EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with

provisions of the Boards policy on evaluation of personnel.

1. Provide an instructional program that is differentiated.
2. Create a secure classroom climate.
3. Analyze data and adjust your lessons accordingly.
4. Plan develop implement and monitor with student success as your goal.
5. Use available technology in your lessons.
6. Communicate effectively with parents and students.
7. Assist with others duties as assigned by the Principal
