Yourrole on the dream team: Teacher Assistant at Drummond Road

A day in thelife of the Teacher Assistant:

• Bepart of a professional early intervention team which includes teachersspeech occupational and physical therapists.
• Evaluatepreschool-age children using a team approach.
• Assistin developing comprehensive evaluation reports plan and implement IndividualEducational Plan.
• Assistteachers in an inclusive preschool setting with children who are typicallydeveloping and those with special needs
• Assistsin providing direct supervision care and support to children.
• Carryout educational creative and recreational activities in classroom or playpark.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 10:30AM-6:00PM (40 Hours)

The tools youneed:

• HighSchool Diploma/GED required.
• 1-2years experience working with young children.
• Goodorganizational skills.
