Job Summary
About The Role
The Teachers Aide assists teachers in creating a safe nurturing and stimulating learning environment for
preschool-aged children (ages 25). Under the direction of the Center Director the aide supports daily classroom
activities helps implement age-appropriate curriculum and ensures each childs social emotional and
developmental needs are met.
What Youll Be Doing
- Assists in planning preparing and implementing the daily lessons and activities aligned with early childhood
development goals. - Assists in planning and preparing the learning environment and preparing needed materials and supplies.
- Supervises and engages children during classroom activities outdoor play meals and transitions.
- Supports children with diverse learning needs including those with disabilities or language barriers.
- Assists in the Desired Results process.
- Observes and documents child behavior and developmental progress as directed.
- Helps maintain a clean organized and safe classroom environment
- Assumes responsibilities for regular parent communication as directed by a supervisor.
- Assumes general responsibility for the health safety and well-being of all children in the agency.
- Assists with diapering toileting and personal care as needed.
- Supports volunteers as requested.
- Attends meetings as requested.
- Greets children parents staff and guests as needed.
- Follows all licensing regulations health and safety protocols.
- Assists other centers when requested.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- GED/HS Diploma
- Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
- Prior experience in working with young children is preferred.
- Immunization records that comply with Senate Bill 792 (immunity for measles pertussis and influenza)
- Required to be a mandated abuse reporter
- Must be able to work within Kidangos core hours and a flexible work schedule.
- 6 ECE units required
Additional Requirements
- Must pass a health screening and TB test
- Must pass background fingerprint clearance
- Valid Driver License
- Must be 18 years or older
- The ability to lift up to 30lbs may be needed during some job duties
- The employee will be required to use hands for computer work answering phone calls etc.

Compensation
$30.29 - $30.29 USD
