Shepherds Flock Preschool is seeking a passionate Toddler Teacher to join our award-winning intergenerational preschool program located on the campus of Lutheran Home in Arlington Heights. What Youll Do

• Foster a nurturing and engaging learning environment for children ages 2-3 years old
• Integrate teaching skills with the values and principles of a mission-driven organization
• Provide children with a well-rounded and developmentally appropriate educational experience
• Support each childs growth through intentional interactions care and guidance
• Participate in intergenerational programming opportunities with older adults
• Maintain a safe organized and welcoming classroom environment
• Build positive relationships with children families and fellow team members

Required Qualifications

• At least a two-year degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field with coursework such as Human Growth and Development Lifespan Development or similar
• 1-3 years of early childhood education or childcare experience preferred
• Early Childhood Education Level 3 certification completed or willingness to obtain after hire
• Infant Toddler Level 2 certification completed or willingness to obtain after hire
