What you bring to SBHG (qualifications):
Education:
- Bachelors degree required preferably in behavioral science.
Experience:
- One year of experience with severely emotionally disturbed children or adults.
Driver Requirements: A valid California Drivers License and current automobile insurance with a driving record that consistently meets the agencys eligibility policy.
How you will make a difference (job overview):
The Therapeutic Behavioral Services Coach is responsible for working with children in placement to provide a large variety of services ranging from behavior management crisis intervention self-help skill building and other services as needed to provide whatever it takes to make a successful placement for the child. The TBS Coach works under the supervision of the Program Coordinator and is a part of the childs treatment team.
