Tax Supervisor

Location: Chandler or Scottsdale AZ (Hybrid)

We are partnered with a highly respected midsized CPA firm in the Phoenix metro area with offices in Chandler and Scottsdale. The firm is seeking a fulltime Tax Supervisor who enjoys building client relationships mentoring team members and growing within a supportive peoplefirst environment.

The Role

As a Tax Supervisor you will step into a leadership role overseeing tax compliance and review while serving as a trusted advisor to clients. This role is ideal for someone who has moved beyond Seniorlevel responsibilities and is ready to supervise work mentor staff and own client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review individual corporate partnership and other income tax returns
  • Supervise train and mentor tax staff while fostering collaboration and growth
  • Conduct tax research and prepare memoranda and recommendations
  • Develop a strong understanding of clients businesses and identify planning opportunities
  • Proactively engage with clients to gather information solve challenges and provide guidance
  • Support additional tax and advisory services as needed
  • Primarily local travel within the Phoenix metro area
What Our Client Is Looking For
  • 47 years of public accounting tax experience
  • Active CPA license required
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field
  • Prior experience reviewing returns and supervising staff
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical communication and projectmanagement skills
  • Professional dependable and clientfocused mindset
  • Commitment to delivering highquality client service
