Tax Senior

Location: Fort Myers FL (On-site)
Salary Range: $130000$150000

This full-service tax accounting and consulting firm seeks a Tax Senior to prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals high-net-worth clients and businesses. The role combines technical tax expertise with client advisory services and team collaboration.

• Prepare and review federal state and local tax returns (individual C-Corporation S-Corporation partnership trust and estate)
• Manage multiple tax engagements while meeting deadlines and client expectations
• Provide tax planning research and advisory services
• Identify tax-saving opportunities and develop client-specific strategies
• Support clients with tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Collaborate with accounting and advisory team members
• Stay current on tax law changes at all levels
• Mentor junior and staff-level tax professionals

• 37 years of public accounting or tax experience
• Strong experience preparing and reviewing individual and business tax returns
• Expertise in corporate and partnership tax preparation
• Knowledge of partnerships corporations trusts estates and high-net-worth individual taxation
• Understanding of federal state and local tax regulations
• CPA certification preferred; CPA eligibility acceptable
• Strong analytical research and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and organizational ability
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
