Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review complex federal state and local tax returns including individual high-net-worth C-Corporation S-Corporation partnership trust and estate returns
  • Manage multiple tax engagements simultaneously while consistently meeting deadlines and client expectations
  • Provide comprehensive tax planning research and advisory services tailored to client needs
  • Identify tax-saving opportunities and develop customized strategies for individual and business clients
  • Ensure all tax returns are accurate complete and compliant with applicable tax laws and regulations
  • Assist clients with tax audits notices and inquiries from federal state and local tax authorities
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted tax advisor
  • Collaborate with accounting and advisory team members to deliver comprehensive solutions
  • Stay current on changes to federal state and local tax laws and regulations
  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior and staff-level tax professionals
Required Qualifications
  • 7 years of public accounting or relevant tax experience
  • CPA certification required
  • Strong experience preparing and reviewing a variety of individual and business tax returns
  • In-depth knowledge of partnerships corporations trusts estates and high-net-worth individual taxation
  • Solid understanding of federal state and local tax regulations
  • Excellent analytical research and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a team
