A well-established 40-year-old CPA firm in the Greenwood Village area is looking to add a strong Senior Tax or Tax Manager to its team. This is a unique opportunity to step into a highly visible role with a loyal client base and play a key part in the firms future growth and transformation.

This position will focus entirely on individual tax work specifically 1040 returns. The right person will handle solo 1040 returns from start to finish including preparation review filing and direct client communication.

This is a great fit for someone who enjoys owning their work building strong client relationships and being a trusted front-line contact for client needs.

• Prepare review and file individual 1040 tax returns from start to finish
• Manage client communication and serve as the main point of contact for individual tax clients
• Work directly with firm leadership and contribute to the future growth of the firm
• Provide a high level of service to a well-established and loyal client base
• Help improve processes and bring fresh ideas to a respected local firm

• Compensation between $120000$150000 depending on experience
• Hybrid and highly flexible work environment
• Busy season work weeks capped at 55 required hours
• Any additional busy season hours are optional and paid as OT or bankable toward PTO
• Direct client contact and ownership of the 1040 process
• Longstanding stable firm with strong local reputation

• Public accounting tax experience with a strong focus on individual returns
• Experience preparing and/or reviewing 1040 returns
• Ability to manage client relationships directly
• Strong communication organization and follow-through
• CPA or EA required
