Position Summary
This position is responsible for supporting projects processes and initiatives within the Tax department. The intern will gain exposure to corporate tax functions financial processes and business operations while assisting with day-to-day activities and special projects that support organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a foundational understanding of tax principles regulations and business processes
  • Support tax-related projects compliance activities and departmental initiatives as assigned
  • Assist with gathering organizing validating and analyzing financial and operational information
  • Create review and maintain spreadsheets reports workpapers and other documentation related to tax activities
  • Collaborate with tax team members and business partners to support ongoing projects and operational needs
  • Participate in research data analysis and problem-solving efforts related to tax and business matters
  • Support process improvement initiatives designed to enhance efficiency accuracy and compliance
  • Assist with preparing information and documentation needed to support tax filings audits and other departmental requirements

Minimum Qualifications & Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required

  • Pursuing Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance

  • Sophomore standing (or equivalent) required; junior standing strongly preferred

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills

  • 0-2 years relevant experience required
