The purpose of this position is to work across multiple tax lanes to prepare tax returns and/or workpapers and assist with various tax projects to ensure department goals and objectives are achieved in alignment with DaVitas Mission and Core Values.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with preparation of state and local tax returns and/or workpaper.

• Correspond with taxing jurisdictions to resolve disputes including filing issues.

• Assist with reconciliation of various tax schedules or tax accounts

• Assist with work allocation and prioritization decisions.

• Perform a wide variety of recurring and non-recurring tax functions

• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to effectively collaborate with other functional areas to achieve the overall DaVita Mission.

Other Qualifications:

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing the following degrees/majors; Bachelors and/or Masters degree in accounting or taxation

• Intermediate Word and Excel skills; Must be able to effectively construct and maintain spreadsheets

• The ideal candidate for this will be someone who is a self-starter detail-oriented highly dependable and has the ability to work well within a team environment.

The Wage Range for the role is $23.00-$45.00 per hour.

If a candidate is hired they will be paid at least the minimum wage according to their geographical jurisdiction and the exemption status for the position.
