Job Summary
POSITION SUMMARY:
We are seeking an experienced Sr. HR Generalist with a strong focus on Talent Acquisition to support and grow our workforce in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role will spend approximately 50% of the time leading to full-cycle recruiting including sourcing screening interview coordination and offer support while also contributing to broader HR Generalist and administrative functions.
This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate who enjoys high-volume recruiting partnership with hiring managers and the ability to grow into expanded HR responsibilities as the organization scales.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Primary Responsibilities (Talent Acquisition 50% or more depending on the recruiting cycle)
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for hourly and salaried positions from requisition intake through onboarding
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop tailored recruiting strategies
- Source candidates using job boards ATS platforms social media networking tools and referrals
- Conduct initial phone screenings to assess qualifications skills and cultural fit
- Present qualified candidates to hiring managers and coordinate feedback and next steps
- Schedule interviews manage calendars and facilitate communication between candidates and interview teams
- Assist in preparing and extending offers including coordination of pre-employment requirements
- Maintain accurate and timely records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Represent the organization at career fairs community events and networking opportunities
- Track and report recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill candidate pipeline health and hiring outcomes
Secondary Responsibilities (Sr. HR Generalist & Administrative Support)
- Support employee onboarding orientation and training coordination
- Assist with employee relations matters to include investigations and day-to-day HR inquiries
- Provide HR administrative support including documentation and record maintenance
- Support performance management processes and annual HR cycles
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives events and cross-functional HR projects
- Ensure compliance with HR policies procedures and employment regulations
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies labor laws and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and prioritize effectively.
- Experience in employee relations performance management and recruitment.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration Industrial Relations or a related field from an accredited college or university
- PHR or SHRM certification preferred
EXPERIENCE:
Experience & Background
- 2 5 years of experience in recruiting recruitment coordination or HR Generalist roles
- Proven experience supporting full-cycle recruitingin a high-volume environment
- HR Generalist experience preferred
- Manufacturing environment experience is considered a strong asset
- Experience supporting multiple business groups or sites is an asset
Technical Skills
- Experience with ATS and HRIS platforms such as ADP and/or Workdaypreferred
- Proficiency with sourcing tools (LinkedIn Recruiter indeed etc.)
