Job Summary
Position Summary:
The Talent Acquisition Intern will support the Human Resources team with recruiting initiatives candidate engagement and day-to-day talent acquisition activities. This internship provides hands-on experience throughout the recruitment process offering exposure to sourcing interviewing onboarding employer branding and HR operations. It is an excellent opportunity for a student interested in building a career in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with posting job openings across various recruiting platforms.
- Review resumes and help identify qualified candidates for open positions.
- Schedule interviews and coordinate communication between candidates and hiring managers.
- Support candidate sourcing efforts through LinkedIn job boards career fairs and other recruiting channels.
- Assist with new hire onboarding including preparing onboarding materials and ensuring required documentation is completed.
- Maintain accurate candidate records within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Participate in recruiting events career fairs and other talent acquisition initiatives as needed.
- Provide administrative support to the Human Resources team including filing data entry and special projects.
- Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
Interview Scheduling | Schedule95% of interviews within 1 business dayof receiving candidate and hiring manager availability. |
Communication | Respond to candidate agency and manager emails within1 business day. |
Candidate Sourcing | Source1020 qualified candidates per week(or as assigned based on recruiting needs). |
Onboarding Preparation | Prepare100% of onboarding packetsprior to each new hires start date. |
Administrative Tasks | Complete assigned administrative tasks by the requested due date95% of the time. |
Attendance & Reliability | Maintain95% or greater attendanceand arrive on time for scheduled shifts. |
Initiative | Complete at leastone process improvement or recruiting projectduring the internship. |
Qualifications:
- Actively enrolled in an accredited four-year degree program pursuing a degree in Human Resources Business Administration Psychology Communications or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook) and comfortable learning new software systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional dependable and eager to learn.
- Interest in recruiting talent acquisition and Human Resources.
- This position requires a minimum of 20 hours per week onsite (schedule may be adjusted to accommodate class schedules).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information
