Systems Technician (Electro-mechanical)

Job Summary
Dioxycle is seeking a hands-on Systems Technician to join our Menlo Park-based team to support experimental tests on our electrolyzers. You will play a key role in our electrolyzer R&D by maintaining and upgrading our electrolyzer test stations. This will involve coordinating with our chemistry and systems engineering teams to troubleshoot hardware issues with our test stations and implementing hardware upgrades. You will also contribute to our day-to-day lab operations to ensure our electrolyzers generate the reliable high-quality data that drives our technology toward industrial scale.
Abilities and expertise we are looking for
- Bachelors degree in a science or engineering degree or similar experience
- Ability to lift 35 pounds and work independently in a dynamic environment with a proactive approach
- Knowledge of AC and DC electrical systems
- Hands-on experience with sensors actuator and basic electronics troubleshooting
- Basic mechanical knowledge to assemble and repair components on test benches
- Comfortable working with international and diverse teams
- 1 years of wet lab experience (internship laboratory or other) with an understanding of general chemical lab safety
- Experience with Python C-code or other languages
