A Systems Specialist focuses on maintaining optimizing and supporting an organizations IT systems and infrastructure. This role ensures systems run efficiently securely and meet business needsoften acting as a bridge between technical teams and users.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain IT systems (servers applications infrastructure)
- Troubleshoot system issues and ensure uptime
- Install configure and upgrade software and systems
- Manage user accounts permissions and access controls
- Support system integrations and data flow between platforms
- Perform system backups and recovery procedures
- Document processes configurations and fixes
Required Skills
- Knowledge of operating systems (Windows Server Linux)
- Basic networking (TCP/IP DNS DHCP)
- Experience with system monitoring tools
- Familiarity with virtualization (VMware Hyper-V)
- Cloud platforms (Azure AWS)
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

- CompTIA A / Network
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
