Systems Quality Engineer Vision Pro and Home

We are the Home and Vision Product Systems Quality team and we are seeking a highly motivated energetic personality with strong communication and interpersonal skills attention to detail and a passion for product usability. As a Quality Engineer you will have a significant impact on helping to deliver functional and stable Apple Vision Pro experiences to millions of customers in a fast-paced environment. You will engage early in development phase to enable and qualify technologies across Apple Products like Vision Pro and the Apple Home are a group of diverse-minded systems QA engineers responsible for driving integrated system testing with an emphasis on hardware-centric software risks and new software features for new/existing devices and their accessories. You will join a dynamic and curious group of people and our testing demands thinking out of the box ranging from customer usage scenario research to designing complicated test procedures around join our team and see how we contribute tremendously to the improvement of the entire Apple product ecosystem!

As a Systems Quality Engineer you will drive quality subjectively and objectively for features that integrate aspects of software hardware and customer centered ecosystem scenario. Using data and your drive for quality youll advocate for fixes and coordinate with engineers across Apple to improve and maintain quality on new and upcoming releases.

Research user scenarios and follow up with developing modifying and executing tests for validation of software-hardware featuresnWork closely with development teams to identify and understand key features and shipping criterianCollaborate with team members global labs and cross-functional groups to identify risk areas develop testing around themnAssess subjective vs objective tests and work with area experts in team to create automated approach of validationnReport and represent QA concerns in cross-functional meetings and to management

Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalentn3 years of Systems Quality Assurance or System Test experience preferably on consumer-facing Hardware/Software productsnStrong verbal and written communication skills including leadership representation nDetail oriented and organized with a strong discipline of adhering to standardsnBasic understanding of machine learning models and AI applications

Coding or scripting experience in Python or BashnFamiliarity with AR/VR concepts and usage of AI tools nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Sufficient knowledge of tools necessary for strong data analysisn Direct experience partnering with functional engineering teams with exceptional ability to build relationshipsnDemonstrates QA skills with at least 2 complete product cycles from inception to customer shipment
