Role Overview:
We are seeking a Systems Integration Testing Engineer Senior to lead test engineering verification and validation activities across BNATCS telecommunications modernization initiatives. Your work will support FAA telecom transformation efforts modernizing critical systems from legacy TDM and copper infrastructure to resilient IP-based fiber-enabled architecture.
Support integration and verification testing new data sources and software capabilities within legacy and this role you will support the SMEs in test planning system validation integration testing and operational verification. Additionally you will contribute to improving testing methodologies system workflows and operational procedures.
What Youll Do:
Lead System Integration & Test (I&T) Execution: Develop test strategies plans and procedures aligned with FAA and BNATCS requirements.
Conduct functional regression performance fail-over and end-to-end system testing.
Support telecom modernization validating systems transitioning from TDM and copper to fiber-based and IP architecture.
Support defect identification root cause analysis and issue tracking for software anomalies discovered during test and operational use
Perform manual and automated testing using engineering lab assets and diagnostic tools.
Verify network cut-overs circuit turn-ups and operational readiness in FAA environments.
Identify and resolve system anomalies across hardware software and network layers.
Produce test reports discrepancy documentation and traceability artifacts.
Coordinate with engineering operations external thirdparty vendors and FAA stakeholders to ensure testing efforts remain aligned

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
U.S. Citizenship is required.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Bachelors degree in engineering Computer Science or a related technical field (An additional 4 years of experiencecan be substituted)
8 years of experience in systems engineering systems integration or test engineering.
5 years of experience performing integration testing for networked or telecom systems.
Knowledge of TCP/IP MPLS BGP IPv6 and fiberbased transport systems.
Experience creating test plans test scripts and test summary reports.
Data analysis skills proficiency in MS Excel Scripting Database and Big Data Analysis.
Strong written and verbal communication skills including presenting technical information and writing test documentation.
Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Willingness to learn solve problems and adapt in a fastpaced environment.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience supporting FAA or NAS telecommunications systems.

Target Salary Range
$104000 - $166000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position the individuals experience education knowledge skills and competencies as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position employees may be eligible for overtime shift differential and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
