Job Summary
The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a system engineer that applies systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept Development ProductionUtilization Support and Retirement. You will interact with the SponsorregardingSystems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problemsissuesor conflicts. You will communicate with other program personnel sponsor overseers and senior executives. Responsibility for the technical integrity quality and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC15288:
Technical Process Area - Stakeholder Requirements Definition Requirements Analysis Architectural Design Implementation Integration Verification Transition Validation Operation Maintenance and Disposal;
Project Process Area - Project Planning Project Assessment and Control Decision Management Risk Management Configuration Management Information Management and Measurement;
Enterprise (Organizational Project-Enabling) Process Area - Project Portfolio Management Infrastructure Management Lifecycle Model Management Human Resource Management and Quality Management;
Agreement Process Area - Acquisition and Supply.
You will be part of an overall effort to provide life cycle services that include systems engineering integration software development testing configurationmanagementand training development in the following functional areas: Analytics Knowledge Management Information Sharing & Malware Analysis.Be part of a department with an expanding range of programs focusing on Cyber Mission Operations where you get to grow on and between programs with peers who are dedicated to advancing national security.
Responsibilities:
Perform systems engineering activities andassistin the preparation of a work product inTechnical Process Areas associated with the ISO/IEC 15288.
Perform systems engineering activities andassistin the preparation of multiple work products in Project and/or Technical Process Areas associated with any of the ISO/IEC 15288 processes.
Assistin performing systems engineering activities in the ISO/IEC 15288 Agreement or Enterprise Process Areas.
Perform analysis of technical alternatives for a project and make preliminary recommendations.
Develop and deliver a work product in any of the ISO/IEC 15288 Process Areas.
Perform systems engineering activities and develop and deliver work products of either the ISO/IEC 15288 Agreement or Enterprise Process Areas.
Independentlyanalyze andrecommend alternatives for elements of projects technical design.
Perform systems engineering activities and develop and deliver work products in each of the ISO/IEC 15288 Project and Technical Process Areas.
Supervise or coordinate the work of other contractor engineers or technicians on a project.
Analyze and proposeappropriate engineeringstandards and processes for a project.
Assistin conducting an evaluation todetermineits suitability for project implementation.
Assistin developing a new or innovative approach to a technical or engineering issue.
Brief stakeholders and present the status on all technical aspects of their project.
Independently make decisionsregardingengineering issues andmethodologyfor a project.
Approve delivery of work products of multiple Processes Areas defined in the ISO/IEC 15288.
Lead contractor systems engineering activities for a project to include supervising the work of the project engineering staff and technicians.
Qualifications:
Required:
- An active TS/SCIw/ Poly
- IAT Level 3 Certification.
- Familiarity with Docker and Containerization.
- ABachelorsdegree in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related disciplinefrom an accredited college or university plus fifteen (15) years of systems engineering experience.
OR
- A High School Diploma or GED and nineteen (19) years of general system engineering experience (any Process Area) may be substituted for aBachelorsdegree.
OR
- AMastersdegree in a Qualified Engineering Field (See Note 1) or a related discipline from an accredited college or university may be substituted for thirteen (13) year of systems engineering experience.
OR
- A PhD in a Qualified Engineering Field or a related discipline from an accredited college or university may be substituted for thirteen (13) years of systems engineering experience.
- Examples of Qualified engineering fieldsinclude:Aeronautics Biomedical Chemical Civil Computer Electrical Environmental Mechanical Nuclear Software Systems and Engineering Management.
- Examples of related disciplinesinclude:Chemistry Computer Science Information Systems Mathematics and Physics.

Pay Range:
