Codeworks an LRS company is seeking a Systems Engineer for a contract position to support the design implementation maintenance and continuous improvement of enterprise infrastructure systems. This role is responsible for planning deploying upgrading and supporting server operating system and infrastructure technologies that enable business-critical applications and services.
Key Responsibilities
Design implement and support enterprise infrastructure solutions that meet business and operational needs.
Install configure maintain and upgrade Windows Server environments and related infrastructure technologies.
Monitor system performance availability and reliability and recommend improvements where appropriate.
Support software hardware operating system and infrastructure upgrades.
Administer and maintain Active Directory services virtualization platforms and enterprise server environments.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure server and application issues.
Collaborate with application teams to ensure infrastructure supports current and future business requirements.
Develop and maintain system documentation operational procedures and technical standards.
Participate in infrastructure planning capacity management and disaster recovery activities.
Apply industry best practices related to system administration security patch management and performance optimization.
Support ongoing operational maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Manage multiple projects and priorities while maintaining attention to detail and service quality.
Technical Experience
Approximately 6 years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure and systems administration environments.
Experience administering and supporting:
Microsoft Windows Server
Active Directory
Microsoft SQL Server
VMware
Windows Server Update Services (WSUS)
Experience with server installation configuration maintenance and troubleshooting.
Experience supporting enterprise operating systems infrastructure services and related technologies.
Knowledge of infrastructure best practices security principles and system lifecycle management.
The base range for this contract position is $30.00 - $40.00 per hour depending on experience. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all U.S. locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors.
