OASYS INC. a Leading-Edge Government contractor in Huntsville Alabama is seeking a Systems Engineer to support our Air Force customer onsite at Redstone Arsenal Huntsville AL.

Job Responsibilities include: Contribute to the system engineering effort for a Department of War (DoW) software development project.

• Experience working with systems engineering activities across the full software development lifecycle including requirements analysis architecture design integration verification and validation.
• Experience in systems engineering processes and methodologies such as Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Agile and DevSecOps frameworks.
• Ability to model requirements digitally with systems engineering tools such as DOORS Cameo Systems Modeler and similar requirements management and modeling platforms.
• Understanding of software architecture patterns interface design and system integration for complex defense applications.
• Experience managing technical baselines configuration control and change management processes.
• Ability to coordinate with government stakeholders contractors and subcontractors to resolve technical issues and drive program execution.
• Understanding of cybersecurity requirements including CSRMC (formerly RMF) NIST 800-53 and DoD security technical implementation guides
• Knowledge of Air Force mission systems command and control architectures or relevant operational domains considered a plus

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelors degree preferably in Engineering Systems Engineering Cyber Computer Information Systems Computer Science Math Physics or other STEM discipline: however years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
• INCOSE CSEP ESEP or similar systems engineering certification is a plus.
• 3-5 years of experience
• Active Secret Clearance
• Excellent problem-solving skills attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels

Required Education: Candidates should possess a bachelors degree preferably in Engineering Cyber Computer Information Systems Computer Science Math Physics or other STEM discipline however years of experience may be substituted for a degree.

Eligibility: Candidates must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance. An Active Secret Clearance is highly desired.
