About the Role A dynamic growing company is looking for a Systems Development Engineer to help build and scale their backend infrastructure. Youll work closely with the CTO on system architecture build custom APIs and own the third-party integrations that keep the business connected and running smoothly. Key Responsibilities
API Development
- Build and maintain custom backend APIs
- Ensure seamless connectivity across internal systems
System Architecture
- Work under the CTO executing on architectural direction and assigned system tasks
- Contribute to the design and scalability of core systems
Third-Party Integrations
- Own and manage integrations with external platforms and services
- Troubleshoot and maintain existing integration pipelines
Qualifications
- Strong experience in backend development
- Strong foundations in JavaScript
- Proficiency in TypeScript and Node/Bun-based environments
- Solid understanding of SQL and relational database concepts
- Experience with React Tailwind and Vite
- Ability to work independently and collaborate closely with senior leadership
- Experience with Cloudflares developer and security products is a plus
