Bespoke Solutions is seeking a seasoned Senior Systems Development Engineer to join our team building next-generation infrastructure solutions for Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC). ADC extends the full power of AWS cloud infrastructure to customers countries and organizations with the most stringent security compliance and data sovereignty requirements including government defense and regulated industries.

This is a high-impact high-visibility role where your systems expertise and architectural decisions will directly shape the reliability scalability and security of infrastructure operating at global scale.

As a Senior Systems Development Engineer you will own the design implementation and operational excellence of the systems and automation platforms that power Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC). Youll lead complex infrastructure initiatives end-to-end from ambiguous problem definition through architecture build-out and long-term operability. Youll partner closely with software engineers security engineers and product teams to translate demanding customer and compliance requirements into robust automated and scalable infrastructure solutions.

Youll also serve as a technical anchor for your team: mentoring engineers driving systems engineering best practices and raising the bar on automation reliability and operational rigor.

This position requires that the candidate selected must be a US Citizen and currently possess and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance. The position further requires that after start the selected candidate obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph or commensurate clearance for each government agency for which they perform AWS work.

Key job responsibilities
- Develop and maintain AWS infrastructure using CDK (TypeScript) and scripting including configuration and management of cloud-based networking services and architectures
- Configure and maintain a logically isolated classified development environment within the AWS Secret Cloud region
- Monitor system health and perform routine patching and software updates across all hosted services
- Administer the GitLab repository including user access pipelines and version control management
- Support physical lab connectivity network switch configuration KVM architecture and developer workstations

- 3 years of development/programming/scripting language (Python/Java/Bash/Perl) experience
- Experience with automation and any version control tools or experience in managing and troublshooting network and experience in Network protocols like DNS/DHCP/TCP
- 7 years experience with Linux and/or Windows Operating System support including in-depth understanding of one or both OSs configuring managing or troubleshooting systems at scale
- Experience with PowerShell scripting database administration and client server applications
- Current active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above

- Masters degree in computer science engineering mathematics or equivalent or Masters degree in computer science engineering analytics mathematics statistics IT or equivalent
- Experience managing full application stacks from the OS up through custom applications or experience in web security and experience that includes strong analytical skills attention to detail and effective communication abilities
- Knowledge of one or more of the following domains: access-control system and methodology network security application- and system-development security security architecture and models cryptography and operations security
- Experience leading highly-available and fault-tolerant enterprise and web-scale software deployments
- In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP and networking protocols such as HTTP DNS BGP IPSec and OSPF
- Current active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
