Systems Administrator II

The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a Systems Administrator II to perform system administration functions in support of a critical mission based in Fort Meade MD. This role provides the opportunity to support enterprise infrastructure enhance system reliability and contribute to secure mission focused operations. Responsibilities:

Perform system administration functions.
Stand up configure and maintain Linux servers.
Monitoring and patching/upgrades to standard networking resources (routers switches firewalls).
Monitoring and patching/upgrades to servers and VM hardware.
Assist and incorporate security compliance controls as applicable.
Support documentation of non-applicable controls.
Assist with installation of new or replacement hardware or software.
Configure and integrate hardware or software with existing networked infrastructure.
Assist with decommission and/or removal of obsolete excess or replaced hardware.
Document inventory changes.

Qualifications:

Required:

Proficient with Linux. Minimum of 3 years Linux system administration experience (within the last 3 years).
Experience with patching and upgrading Linux servers and networking resources.
VM experience.
Security cert.
Bachelors degree in a technical discipline.
7 years experience as a Systems Administrator in programs of similar scope type and complexity.
3 years of additional Systems Administration experience may be substituted for a bachelors degree.

Should have working knowledge able to use and or support with some (preferably most) of the following resources and tools:

Dell and HPE Linux servers
Juniper and Cisco routers switches and firewalls
Palo Alto firewalls
Ansible
Nutanix VM management
Rubrik data storage
Nomad containers
SALT scripts
LibreNMS
NetBox
