We are seeking a skilled and motivated Systems Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation configuration maintenance and overall operation of the organizations IT systems and infrastructure. This role ensures that systems are reliable secure and perform efficiently to support business objectives. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background problem-solving skills and experience with various operating systems networks and IT tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install configure and maintain operating systems software and hardware.
- Perform regular system updates patches and backups to ensure system reliability and data integrity.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
- Manage and maintain network infrastructure including switches routers and firewalls.
- Implement and monitor security measures to protect systems and data from unauthorized access vulnerabilities and cyber threats.
- Perform regular backup operations and ensure data integrity.
- Manage user accounts and access permissions.
- Provide technical support to end-users resolving hardware software and network issues.
- Assist in onboarding new employees by setting up accounts devices and permissions.
- Develop and deliver training materials to educate users on best practices and new technologies.
- Collaborate with other IT team members and departments to support business objectives.

Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows Mac OS etc.) network administration
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure).
- Familiarity with various IT security practices and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with scripting and automation tools.
- Knowledge of database management and administration.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network CompTIA Security or Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA).
Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $74k - $98kannually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills education experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Companys applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
