Systems Administrator 3rd Shift (TSSCI)

Koniag Data Solutions a Koniag Government Services company is seeking a Systems Administrator with an active Top-Secret/SCI clearance to support KDS and our government customer in Arlington VA. This position requires overnight hours. The normal shift will be 11pm-7am Sunday night through Friday offer competitive compensation and an extraordinary benefits package including health dental and vision insurance 401K with company matching flexible spending accounts paid holidays three weeks paid time off and Functions Responsibilities & Duties may include but are not limited to:Youll install configure and maintain operating systems software applications and security patches across the monitor system performance and proactively address any performance issues bottlenecks or potential administer user accounts permissions and access rights ensuring data security and compliance with company troubleshoot hardware and software issues perform root cause analysis and implement solutions to prevent recurring provide technical support to end-users assisting them with IT-related problems and maintain and update documentation related to system configurations processes and proceduresQualifications:Bachelors degree in information technology Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).More than 6 years of proven experience as a Systems Administrator or similar role with a strong understanding of IT infrastructure and systems in managing Windows with VMware virtualization of network protocols and security best with system monitoring and management certifications (e.g. VMware Certified Professional Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator).Experience working with technical teams to develop and deliver technical documentationRequirements:An active Top-Secret Department of State SCI required to startExtras:Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented skills (e.g. PowerShell Bash) for automation and task in ITIL or other relevant service management certifications is a plusOur Equal Employment Opportunity Policy:The company is an equal opportunity employer.
