The Space & Airborne Center within Systems Engineering/Integration & Test is seeking talented System Integration & Test II - Electronic Warfare Engineers to support our advanced airborne and space-based programs. Our team is responsible for integrating hardware and software developing test plans and procedures debugging and evaluating system functions and interfaces and verifying system requirements in support of final customer selloff.

We build systems endtoend exercising them in the lab and in the field analyzing performance and ensuring they work the first time and every time. The work brings daily technical challenges and requires collaboration across engineering disciplines to deliver effective this role youll gain broad insight into the entire system and play a direct part in making it all work together through integration and test efforts.

As a System Integration & Test II - Electronic Warfare Engineer within the Space & Airborne lifecycle center you will interface with customers to develop CONOPS system architectures and system requirements and manage qualification verification and validation activities. You will perform functional and physical analyses requirements allocation and trade studies while helping transition systems from production through warranty sustainment and longterm support.

You will also contribute across the product lifecycle including radar mode requirement development engineering testing integration and flighttesting production deployment and postdeployment sustainment. Digital Transformation (DTx) methods including MBSE and Agile enable these activities and support our modern engineering approach. This is an onsite role in Goleta California.

What You Will Do:

• Plan and execute Integration Verification and Troubleshoot Test activities in labs the field and Depot facilities; travel may be required.
• Conduct product qualification troubleshooting failure analysis and rootcause/corrective action using advanced test equipment.
• Perform detailed performance evaluations using MATLAB and other analysis tools and deliver results through technical reports and briefings.
• Troubleshoot hardware implement minor design changes and maintain engineering specifications schematics assembly drawings and engineering databases.
• Coordinate technical discussions and tagups across Program Management Systems Engineering and Chief Engineering to resolve systemlevel issues.
• Provide technical guidance to IPTLs and participate in team meetings teleconferences and working groups.
• Implement process requirements and contribute to mockup hardware repair activities sustainment tasks and Depot return/repair efforts.

What You Will Learn:

• After completion of comprehensive on-the-job training the candidate will be a part of a team supporting Systems Engineering Systems Integration & Test activities across the product development lifecycle.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline (preferably Systems Engineering Electrical Engineering Software Engineering or Physics) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience with Electronic Warfare Radar systems integration verification and validation
• Experience with troubleshooting technical issues with electronics in an academic or internship setting including the use of common commercial test equipment (oscilloscope spectrum analyzer etc.)
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience preparing system/subsystem test documentation (e.g. plans procedures and reports) for Electronic Warfare and Radar system test
• Experience troubleshooting testing and integrating EW/Radar system test equipment
• Modeling the performance of EW/Radar systems
• Millimeter and microwave RF at both the system and module levels
• Integration of mixed signal modules into the next higher assembly
• Experience with security requirements related to government testing
• Microsoft Office MATLAB or Python for data analysis and automation

  The salary range for this role is 75800 USD - 144200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
